Joe Hewitt, the developer of the Facebook App, is getting ready to release an update to the popular social networking tool. Joe says he’s 98% finished the new app, so my guess is that we’ll be seeing it in the App Store within the next 30 days or so.

Apple has released OS 3.1 SDK beta for developers to tinker with. I’m not sure what’s been added just yet, if anything. I will post the news regarding bug fixes and update details as I get them.
